Scope and content

Thanks FH for the typescript of his latest book, The Darwinian priority. Finds it 'compelling reading', although found the evidence of the Asa Gray letter 'complicated and difficult to grasp'. Has searched again for the 'the list of letters which were not returned from Sir James Marchant', but has not found it, and begins to wonder if it ever existed. Encloses a copy of a letter from John L. Brooks to Quentin Keynes, commenting on a Wallace letter that Keynes found in a second hand book by Wallace (31/11/10). Keynes has sent the a copy of the letter to John Wallace, which Wallace encloses (31/11/11). He also encloses a copy of a newspaper cutting about Darwin letters (31/11/12).
