Scope and content

Heard of FH's book Energy or extinction from one of its few reviews in the US scientific press. 'It is imperative that the theme of Chapter 1 be clearly heard and understood in the Western World'. Finds it disturbing that scientific facts are being ignored or distorted, in many cases deliberately and maliciously, to attack nuclear energy. Hopes that FH can be persuaded to 'update, expand upon, and document' the arguments of Chapter 1 and 4-6 for an article 'in some more widely read medium' such as Fortune, Forbes magazine, or possible Reader's digest. [Autograph note in the hand of Barbara Hoyle: 'Have replied. Thoughts you might like to see this.']
