The first letter encloses copies of his two self-published books 'Solecisms' and 'Herzen' (not present) which he has produced online. The second letter encloses an enlarged reprint of a recently rediscovered old photograph on the reverse of which Cradock had written 'Neuschwanstein - en carrosse'. The photo was taken by Ronald, and the sender hopes it will bring back happy memories. He muses on their generation and the current state of the world. Sends love and hopes that Percy and Birthe will visit them.
