ALS, addressed from 66 Papanui Road, Christchurch, New Zealand. The second encloses two photographic reproductions of Butler's oil painting of his own head, taken from the original in the Public Library of Christchurch, New Zealand. Also includes a black and white print of an early watercolour showing Butler's hut at Mesopotamia (reproduced in the Shrewsbury edition of 'Erewhon Revisited').
