Typescript article on the nature of photogeneity. A photographic beauty is someone who photographs well, though she may be plain in real life. It is difficult to generalise on what makes a face photogenic, though certain rules do apply. A protruding nose casts shadows and can, for instance, be difficult; a big mouth is essential. Eyes, on the other hand, however important in real life, are secondary in photographs. Grace Kelly represents a good example of photogeneity. While people should not attach too much importance to their photographic beauty, we live in an age of photography and it is consequently an inevitable preoccupation for many women. Nevertheless, there are certain tricks which can often help a woman to be more photogenic and a general maxim for being photographed is for a woman to exaggerate what she has got.
