Immediate source of acquisition or transfer
This album was sent to the Library by the Master, E. A. Benians, in October 1940 after the Post Office refused to undertake delivery to Sir Joseph Larmor, to whom the photograhs were given by the College. On the 7 August 1942 the College Council agreed that the photographs should remain in the possession of the Library. The photographs were taken by Professor Briggs, who compiled the album.
