Correspondence and papers re service, St Andrew's Church, Girton, Cambridge, 7 October. Elisabeth Hertz (1864-1941), the widow of the German physicist H.R. Hertz (1857-1894) had fled the Nazis in the 1930s. She died in Cambridge, her grave virtually unnoticed until 1992.
