Scope and content
Typescript letter in which Bronson writes that he has discussed the problem of setting up the scenery on the stage of the new opera with Herman Krawitz; the issue is not so much to do with the completion of the scenery by mid-March, but rather that the stage of the new opera will not be ready by that point for a proper technical rehearsal, hence the delay. Bronson also writes of several queries that have arisen in the course of their work on the scenery, for example to do with inconsistencies in the elevation drawings of the Act I set. Bronson requests Beaton's response to the problems he has indicated. Includes a rough pencil sketch of the stage layout on the reverse side of the first page.
