ALS, addressed from 26 Great Ormond Street, [London].Thanks him for the portrait of Butler and refers to some letters he has discovered, sent 'from old grandfather Butler to a certain Cradock', which refer to drawings of a hill in Shropshire. Handwritten transcripts of three letters of 1818, 1824 and 1826 are attached.
