Some reminiscences. Kochina's letters and offprints are in Russian. Some translated. Kochina (1899-1999) was Director in the Mathematical Methods of Mechanics Section of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow. She was married to the distinguished mathematician Nikolai Yevgrafovich Kochin (1901-1944).
