Cambridge Town Council have decided to use the turbine system to light Cambridge.
Comments on Laval's turbine. With regard to the boat, there has been trouble with the 'castings forming the lower part of the boiler', but he hopes these have been surmounted, and is due to run the motor at speed on the coming Monday. They have also supplied 2 x 600 H. P. turbines, and dynamos to a chemical company
Hopes Lord Brassey and the Duke of Devonshire will join the company.
