Accompanied by a photograph of the match in progress; commentary on the reverse of the photo records a 3–3 draw and describes what is happening in the scene: 'A lineout: David (left wing) approaching the fray. Lyn Wallace (hooker) half-obscured. Myself and John Bance jumping. Brian preparing for his effort. Eric, Gordon and Michael moving up in support. Jimmy (scrum ½), awaiting the ball. Refferee [sic] in obstructive position.'
