Scope and content

View looking down Fleet Street towards St Paul's Cathedral (just visible). The pavement is crowded with men in suits and hats, and a tall man in a top hat with his back to the camera in the centre. A cart laden with luggage stands in the street, and two horses with nosebags are harnessed to it, facing the camera. Tall buildings on either side of the street, with shop signs visible on the left, including 'Novelty Stores' and 'Rubber Stamps'. A wall-mounted clock reads 14:35.
