Scope and content
Mansbridge was the Cambridge University Press representative in New York. The collection is mainly concerned with GGC's autobiography 'Fourscore Years' which was published in 1943 and details chapters written, changes to be made and deadlines. There are two letters from Mrs Coulton to Mansbridge concerning GGC's writing. Also included is a note from GGC explaining his views on Frederick Rolfe (also known as Baron Corvo), mention of whom was due to be made in the autobiography.
