Typescript biographical sketch of Beaton, written by Sara Woods on behalf of Neiman Marcus. At the imminent 19th annual Fashion Exposition in Dallas, (3rd - 4th September, 1956) Beaton will receive one of several Neiman-Marcus Awards for "distinguished service in the field of fashion". Beaton's costumes for the Broadway production of 'My Fair Lady' have had a significant influence on 1956-7 fashions, and consequently, on the decision to confer the Award on him. Neiman Marcus is an American luxury department store, founded in 1907 and headquatered in Dallas, Texas. Two copies.
