Thanks Beaton for his letter. Enjoyed being in "The Gainsborough Girls" more than he can say. The audiences in Oxford were the best they had since Brighton. Is leaving for Newcastle on Monday as he is taking over the part of Higgins in "Pygmalion". Alan Webb is leaving to play in America. Wishes Beaton luck in re-writing the play.
