Item 3 - Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Towcester

Is ashamed not to have thanked Beaton for writing to her about her mother. Was very touched to get it in the week following her death. All Beaton writes about her is true. She admired stoicism and curiosity as the only barriers against old age. Whenever she drove to visit her mother, it was a joy to imagine the end of the journey. Would rejoice that her mother is reunited with her father if she did not miss her so much.
