Had left Greece when Beaton's long letter came. It was extraordinary to read Beaton's plans about coming over just as she was telling him about her plans for Paris. Hopes they do not miss each other. Is happy for Beaton's job. It will mean more action and new material for what interests him. Weekended here after 9 exhausting days with little sleep. Describes all she has done and seen. She isn't well and will see a surgeon on Wednesday. Princess Olga picks her up on 1st May. Found Emerald and talked about Beaton.
