Scope and content

Just finished reading "My Bolivian Aunt" and wanted to tell Beaton how much she enjoyed it. In the old days at Hyde Park Street, Beaton was the boy next door. He used to come to their parties and they went to those given by Beaton's mother. Wonders why Beaton's aunt called her husband 'Pesh-er-Ohr'. Remembers a delightful occasion when Beaton asked them down to Cambridge to see a Footlights production in which he was involved.
