Thanks Beaton for their visit to Ashcombe. Reminisces about previous visits. His sadness at leaving can be tempered with the thought that he created for his friends "an atmosphere of rarefied aesthetic & physical enjoyment". However his genius can continue elsewhere. Can he have a farewell party at Ashcombe? Is glad that he is writing a book on the house.
