Scope and content
Is touched that Beaton would take the pains to write such an encouraging letter. Her children are a joy, as is the Turkish décor. The town is a 'mazy din'. Will leave it and return by the 'treacherous flying machine'. Will stay for two weeks with Judy and then be in Chantilly by the end of April. Would like to come to England for "My Fair Lady" but is not sure if Bill Paley will invite her. Asks Beaton to put in a word to any one who has a spare seat. Will come over for the excitement and for Beaton, 'not for Shaw or music or Rex bloody Harrison'. Chantilly is open doored May, June and half of July. Asks Beaton to come 'with or without chums'.
