Expected a wire from Beaton telling him how everything was. They were very lonely after he left. Asks him to telephone on Sunday night as it would do him good to hear his voice. Met Gertrude Stein and Alice Toklas. Discusses their meeting. Was invited on a trip but was too tired. Asks Beaton to let him know where he is in London.
