Thanks Beaton for his letter. Thanks him for the trouble he has taken over her affairs. He is a "wonderful friend". Has taken a tiny apartment. It is small and ugly and used to belong to the muse of Arthur Curtis Janus. Has been sent one of Beaton's articles which was very interesting. Loved his pictures in Vogue. Has been painting like mad and going "slightly surrealist". Sends her love and wishes him a Happy New Year.
