Scope and content
Thanks Beaton for his letter. Tells him it made her think he had enjoyed himself almost as much as she enjoyed having him. Conveys her deep appreciation and requests that he come again. Tells Beaton she has received a letter from Topsy who is very ill and spitting blood. Feels the illness has been brought on by her Ian's absence. Informs Beaton that she will be in London for a few days from Feb 17th. Asks if Beaton would like to go to Beatrix's play on the 20th. Tells him that she is still struggling with George Eliot. Says that she waters her plant every day and it reminds her of him.
