Item 224 - Autograph letter, signed, from Jeanne [Armour], Worthing, to Barbara Hoyle

Thanks Barbara for the 'pretty birthday card'. The blue is like her new long quilt, which she wore to the theatre in Winchester last night. It fits perfectly, and, if anything, she needs 'to tighten it up a bit'. She bought the writing paper she is using at a church sale; it is practically antique. Has not yet heard the result of the survey on the house, but it is only 20 years old, so wiring, plumbing and damp proof 'should be modern', which is 'not true of most of Cambridge'. It also has two other assets: a garage and a telephone. Enjoyed FH's interview on the radio.
