Scope and content

Attaches a printed photograph of himself in 1929 and a printed christmas circular. Introduces himself as a friend of Glover's father, Richard Glover, and an ex-member of the B.M.S. Suggests that Glover should publish his National Lecture as a book. Mentions that he is an active member of the Education Committee and manages eight schools including the Technical College. Refers to his pursuit of the 'progressive revelation' theory of the Bible, and his acceptance of Sir Oliver Lodge's opinions on the nearness of the spirit world. Stresses the importance of encouraging people to examine their 'lives and creeds'. Complains of the prevalence of British Israelism, Christian Science and Second Adventism.
