Scope and content
Congratulates Glover on his election to the office of Public Orator. Recalls that their first conversation, in 1910, was about winter underclothing. Reports that he has been a chaplain in France and Belgium, and is now a curate in Wymondham, Norfolk, supporting a wife on ' the same salary as that paid to the local scavanger'. Mentions that he often hears from Bill Darlington, chief dramatic critic for the 'Daily Telegraph', and sometimes from Ted Raven. Asks to be remembered to Sikes and Benians.
