Thanks Glover for the 'budget of letters' from all Glover's family. Expresses disappointment not to have got a First. Mentions kind letters from Mr Joseph of New College, and his tutor, Lindsay. Refers to his parting with Gibson in the Lake District. Regrets that he did not know any of the dons at Balliol as well as he knew Shortt and others at Kingston. Overviews his time at Oxford.
