Includes: notes, correspondence and reciepts for relating to the retirement of Reuben Buttress, SJC Marker. Buttress worked for the College for 41 years. At his retirment the College rewarded him with a silver plate tea service. Included in the file is the correspondence and receipts for this tea service. The tea service was provided by Edward Barnard & Son and cost £40 8s.

Also includes a letter from Buttress to the bursar, letter recalling details of his service in the College.
