Whereas John de la Knolle has sued the Prioress and nuns of Broomhall before lord William de Bereford [Beresford ] and other justices of the King's Bench at York in the Michaelmas term, 13 Edward II, for a messauge, 67 and a half acres of land, six acres of meadow, eight acres of wood and two acres of heath at la Knolle in Egeham [Egham], he remises and quitclaims to the Prioress and nuns all the right to them which he might have by inheritance from Matilda his mother.
