John Renatus, Rome to John Fisher, reporting his efforts to locate a work by John Anianus required by Fisher; has found only the 'Antiquitates' of John Annius of Viterbo. Annius was a noted forger of classical inscriptions and other writings devoted to 'proving' the distinction of his native Viterbo. See R.
