Indenture by which Broomhall Priory lets to farm to Richard Topsell, 'wainer' [cordwainer?], a tenement in the county of Surrey and the parish of Broomhall, with three fields, on one of which the house stands, one called the furste Close and the third adjoining Margattes bowre, for 40 years at a yearly rent of six shillings and eight pence.
If Richard wants to build, he shall have wood, and he must do the repairs, but he must not 'meddle' with the wood growing, except for 'hedge bote' and 'plowe bote'.
