Weather observations, 1929

Note by two members of college staff, G. Blackburn and R. Piggott, mentioning undergraduates on the river 'in white flannels' two weeks after skating on it; while 'we poor devils are busy floor bumping'.

Walworth Visits, Events & Activities: College Mission

Includes

  1. A printed booklet, outlining the various events and activities undertaken by the College Mission at Walworth in conjunction with the Cranleigh School Auxiliary. The booklet, produced c.1910-1911, provides a year-by-year account of the work of the Mission, as well as information about its institutions and clubs, for example, the Harvest Festival, Parish Magazine, Boys' Camp, Flower Show, and Relief Committee.

  2. A printed circular, advertising the Annual Festival and Reunion of Johnians and Cranleighans at the Lady Margaret Vicarage, 9th-10th October, 1916.

  3. An invitation to the Walworth College Mission Annual Festival and Reunion, held on the 11th-12th October 1917, with programme details and RSVP request. Postage information on the reverse indicates that the invitation was sent to C.W. Previté-Orton.
