Ryght Worshypfull Mr Dean pleasyth yt your mastershyp to be advertysed that one Mr Woodward the under shyrefe [sheriff] of Kent the last yere haith gevyne [given] commandement to baley [bailiff ?] to distreyne your parsonage and maner of Hedcorne, for the sum of xx li. which he sayth yow and your college doth owe, to whome I cannot tell, but belyke [belike] the the pursuit is mad to the King's maiestye [majesty]. In case the catell [cattle] upon the parysse shuld be distreyned for the matter peraventure therby moche loss myght cum to the owner. this shalbe therfor most hertyly to seyer your mastershype to see sum way in this behalfe that the said maner and parsonage may be quyetly occupyed without any such truble or vexation: I wold be lother to be so trublet [troubled] with yt. Thus fayr your good worshippe right hertyly well from Adesham the vijth of Juli
