Lord Powis, Edward (Clive) Herbert, 2nd Earl of Powis III, is of St John's College, Cambridge.
Note
The election for Chancellorship of Cambridge University took place in 1847 between Lord Powis and Prince Albert, following the death of the Duke of Northumberland. Prince Albert won the election by 117 and remained Chancellor until his death in 1861.
