150th Anniversary Commemoration

Includes descriptions of the effects of the air raids in London and a pen portrait of Clementine Churchill (1885-1977): 16th August, 1940; 30th August, 1940; September, 1940; 3rd, 14th, 19th and 22nd October, 1940; 3rd and 10th November, 1940; 12th January, 1941; 20th February, 1941; 25th March, 1941; 3rd June, 1941; 3rd August, 1941. Also contains a melanex folder with notes written on Beaton's outward trip to New York in June 1940, aboard the Cunard White Star Samaria, and the return journey on the 2nd July, 1940.
