ALS from Richard Braithwaite, Cambridge

Is sorry that MHAN is going to Bletchley but believes he has 'the sort of brain that will be most valuable there'. Notes that the work there is not too onerous. Gives news of a recent holiday he has spent in 'the hills above Royston'. Has to write a review of Russell's 'Inquiry into Meaning and Truth' but is finding it difficult as he finds the book 'so (senilely) bad'. Is hoping to finish a paper soon. Hopes to have more time in September to be able to read MHAN's paper, though points out that he is no expert. Sends his regards to Blackett.
