Encloses a letter from his friend George Dawkins who married Mrs Sartoris nee Callendar, sister in law of Madame L'Aigle, concerning the identity of the characters in Adelaide Sartoris' piece 'A week in a French country house'. Regrets never accepting the invitation to stay at Chateau de Francport.
