Part of Papers of Lyn Newman
Complains of her situation in Buckinghamshire with no schools for the children, hardly any contact with the outside world, and a lot of housework to do for Max. Describes wartime England. Replies that she did not see Mrs Aydelotte on board the Nyassa. Hopes that Patrick Blackett will visit Princeton whilst he is in the U.S.A. Asks for the address of the Saturday Review so that she can write to them about her poem. Sends a puzzle about goldfish with the answer on a separate sheet of paper. Postscript with an anecdote about the accidental breakage of Lyn's birthday present from Max.
