Is interested in Erdos, and feels that a position may become available in the coming year. Notes that the US 'is very close to saturation point' with displaced Europeans.

Suggests a course of study to be undertaken by 'Mr Graham' if he comes to Princeton University. Suggests that he will try to get financial help but that he should approach those who know him first.

Has 'tried to find something ... for Erdos, but without success'. Hopes that LJM keeps him in mind as he is keen to return to England. Is working on getting the new Mathematical Review under way and hopes to get the sponsorship of the LMS and the Royal Society. Hopes that LJM will spend some time in Princeton.

Will suggest Baer if an opportunity presents itself. Does not believe there will be a chance in Princeton as there already a lot of foreigners and Jews there.
Part of Papers of Lyn Newman
Sends news from Princeton. Reports that she has seen Johnny von Neumann and his bride who is a contrast to Mariette. Mentions that Oswald is one of Hermann Weyl's sponsors for American citizanship and that the other Weyls are also applying. Complains that too many British people are in favour of Hitler, saying that Mrs Hadenburg gave her an account of the situation in Germany. Asks after Professor Hardy.
