Question raised by Peters and Maxwell regarding periodic change of latitude in a period of 306 days should be fully investigated. Wishes to know whether any recent work has been done on the subject, and if not asks JCA to undertake it quickly so that results may be available for 2nd ed. of Thomson and Tait [Treatise on natural philosophy]
