Some years before had been asked to write on magic, witchcraft and astrology but will now have to refuse. Feels it is best to let them know now before they contact him and it is too late. Has been prevailed upon to be literary executor to two old friends and has now no time to write anything further. Suggests Professor Lynn Thorndike as a possible replacement or Dr Joseph Hansen. Feels that astrology no longer should be bracketed with witchcraft and magic but more associated with astronomy and suggests Professor Tatlock may be interested.
