Also discusses, proudly, his winning of the 'Pelham Prize' [Awarded at Shrewsbury School] and the praise given him by Dr Butler.

Notes he has thought of migrating to Pembroke as a Fellowship is worth more, and there is more chance of getting one. Also believes that it would be prove to be more advantageous in supporting his future at the Bar. Asks for more money.
