Part of Papers of John Couch Adams
Sends, in confidence, the minutes of the Royal Society passed the previous day. Regrets that JCA was not at the meeting. It concerned the setting up of a museum in Kensington: idea headed by Prince Albert. The Royal Society more interested in a site at Charing Cross. Volume on the solar eclipse in the press. Future arranagements for the Monthly Notices of the RAS, including fee to be paid to Grant for editing it.
