Thinks C's idea is brilliant. R has been thinking about the final Amen at the end of the Sanctus. Discusses the use of Amen and Sanctus in Tertullian De spectaculis 25. Discusses passages in Apocalypse. Refers to the Latin eucharistia. The Journal of Ecclesiastical History is printing R's piece on the Sanctus. Discusses trouble over Sanctus and Benedictus at Ely.
