Note to Crook thanking him for the letter of congratulations 18 months earlier, following the award of PhD. His delayed response was in the main due to having been knocked down by an out of control motor car, which left his left knee badly damaged and necessitated a major operation. He mentions an article that he has published in the British Journal of Aesthetics. (A single page note to the College, dated 24/2/1986, informing of his PhD award is attached.)
