She suggests that while she is still on sabbatical she will take the opportunity to do some writing, based on the research she did during her time in Cambridge.

Thanks Crook for his concern but nobody close to her was affected by the tsunami. She describes the force of the waves as mind boggling. She states that corruption and inefficiency are beginning to creep in. She is busy marking student exams which were postponed due to the tsunami.
