Part of Papers of Lyn Newman
Reports that Mrs Langdon Marvin is ill and so Mrs A. H. Tandy is head of the British Mothers Club. Thinks it unlikely that any of the mothers at the club will sign Lyn's cable because they signed a document agreeing not to ask for money from England, and further many of them are wives of men in America on government business. Gives Mrs Tandy's reasons for not raising the matter at the Club, in particular that Lyn Newman is not a member.
