Fourteen handwritten letters to RHY, plus a press-cutting relating to St John's examination results, with RHY's name underlined, and a handwritten list of herbarium curators, on which Yapp appears 1899-. There is a mix of personal and official correspondence.
These prints were stored in a Kodak wallet labelled 'Cambridge Fens 1904'. The glass plate negatives are held for all but two of them. Although the wallet is labelled 1904, some of the negatives were dated July 1908. Prints have been assigned the same reference number as their corresponding negative, and the description from the negative envelope has been used, as none of the prints was labelled.
Description on glass plate negative M214 reads "Gunung Inas. Hut at 4000' camp. Mat Dia + Massan."
