Admissions Registers

The Register includes details of all those admitted to the College, including information drawn from the Students' Registration Form completed by Freshers. The following information is included: Admissions Register Number, name in full, place and date of birth, parents' names and occupations, parents' address, schools and periods at schools, first tutor (but not subsequent changes of tutor), status at admission, date of admission (the date the entry is made in the Register).

The first Registers were created by Professor JA Crook with the help of the Tutorial Office for Junior Members, the Bursary for Fellows and the Master's Lodge for certain other members. The Register of Admission is the official College record of membership. This was sanctioned by Council Minute 3107/9(a)I, 15 May 1997. This provision was carried into a new Standing Order, A37(a) by CM3115/8(a)iii, 13 Nov 1997.
